The folks over at Digga have designed an excellent line up of auger drives for mini excavators weighing between 6,600 pounds and 11,000 pounds. Each auger drive has a 2-piece shaft design that ensures maximum side load ratings without the issue of increasing the load on the bearings. The HALO alignment system option can be added to these drives, giving you the ability to see if the auger is plumb, right from the operators seat. No need for a spotter or getting out of the excavator cab to check the alignment. Package includes 87" hoses, quick disconnects, excavator mount, and linkage.

3DSS

The 3DSS puts out 2,829 foot pounds of torque at 3000 PSI with a max torque foot pounds of torque of 3,300 at 3500 PSI. The recommended host machine hydraulic flow for the 3DSS is 10-30 gallons per minute.

4DSS

The 4DSS auger drive has 3,275 foot pounds of torque at 3000 PSI and hits 3,821 foot pounds at 3500 PSI. It also has a max horse power rating of 33. This mini-excavator auger drive has a recommended flow rating of 10-30 gpm.

5DSS

Digga's 5DSS drive pumps out at 3,583 foot pounds of torque at 3,000 PSI, and a whopping 4,180 max foot pounds of torque at 3,500 PSI. The recommended gallons per minute flow rating for this unit is 10-36 GPM and has a max horse power of 55. It also comes standard with a PRV (pressure relief valve)

Which Auger Bit Should I Chose?

The general purpose light conditions auger bit is good if the ground is earthy and not very hard. The heavy conditions bit is good for hard ground. The rock/earth combo bit is good for fracturable rock, earth clay, and shale.
