The Fecon Severe Duty Bull Hog is Fecon's sturdiest forestry mulcher, engineered for 15-45 ton excavators and built to hold up under the down pressure larger machines put on an attachment. Many models can be paired with Fecon's BHP270 hp power pack for maximum
production.


It's available in three configurations — 36", 56", and 59" working widths — with flow ranges up to 150 gpm on the higher-output models.

What's the difference between the BH40EXC, BH80EXC, and BH200EXC?

They differ in width, weight, and flow capacity. The BH40EXC is the lightest at 36" and 3,150-3,250 lbs. The BH80EXC steps up to 56" and 3,950-4,300 lbs with flow up
to 150 gpm. The BH200EXC is the largest at 59" and 5,375-5,500 lbs, also rated up to 150 gpm on its highest flow configuration. Choose based on your excavator's lift
capacity and available hydraulic flow.

Can the Fecon Severe Duty Bull Hog be paired with a power pack?

Yes, many Severe Duty models can be paired with Fecon's BHP270 hp power pack for maximum production, which is useful when your excavator's stock hydraulics
don't provide enough flow to run the mulcher at full capacity. Contact us to see whether a power pack makes sense for your setup.

What's the difference between the Severe Duty line and the 12-20 ton Bull Hog?

The Severe Duty line is built for 15-45 ton excavators and is Fecon's sturdiest option, designed to handle the down pressure of larger machines. The 12-20 ton Bull Hog
is a lighter heavy duty model for smaller excavators. If your machine is under 15 tons, the 12-20 ton Bull Hog is the better-matched head.

Does the Severe Duty Bull Hog need a case drain?

Yes, a case drain is required to protect your excavator's hydraulic system. Hoses aren't included with the attachment — we recommend having them made locally at a
hydraulic shop so they're cut to the correct length for your machine.
